Energy Rating

The Housing Industry Association of Australia (HIA) strongly suggest you ensure the energy rating on your window is WERS (Window Energy Rating Scheme) rated to be confident of its true performance. The flexible glazing options available in the Cyclone Windows collection means our windows and doors compare favourably to WERS performance parameters. The resale value and comfort you experience are improved using high performance windows and doors.

Energy rating for windows is part of the Federal Government’s commitment to improving energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse emissions. WERS is currently managed by the AWA and enables windows to be rated and labeled for their annual energy impact on a building in any climate in Australia. WERS acts as a fair, rigorous and credible system for testing energy performance claims.

Cyclone Rating

Australia/New Zealand Standards dictate the required performance of windows in cyclonic regions and WA has the highest performance requirements with both regions C & D applicable along our northern and north-west coast lines. Cyclone Windows suites have been tested to comply with these requirements and we can supply practical solutions to window designs challenges in all cyclone regions.
